Chelsea vs Luton Bet Builder Predictions

Chelsea have had a poor start to the season, picking up just one point from their opening two matches but this is a game they will surely win against newly promoted Luton. Pochettino’s side had almost 70% possession against West Ham on Sunday but were beaten 3-1 and although that result probably didn’t tell the whole story after a missed penalty and countless missed chances, the fact is they ended up being beaten quite comfortably.

Luton have only played once so far because their stadium improvements are not finished but that was a resounding 4-1 defeat to Brighton. They were in the match until the final 10 minutes but never really looked like getting the win at any point. That should be the same story on Friday night and we’re predicting an easy win for Chelsea, winning by two goals or more.

Raheem Sterling has been good for Chelsea in the opening two games this season and if Jackson continues to fail in front of goal, it could be Sterling who needs to step forward and provide the goals. He should get plenty of chances on Friday night.

Ben Chilwell is pretty mush playing as a left winger in this Chelsea system so he is a good bet for shots on target, especially at home against a poor Luton side.

The last two legs of the Chelsea vs Luton bet builder tip is for two Luton players to get a card, starting with Mads Juel Anderson, who was booked in the opening game against Brighton and made four fouls. The second player to be booked is going to be Marvellous Nakamba, who committed a foul against Brighton and will have a lot of defensive work to do at Stamford Bridge on Friday.
