Bournemouth vs Liverpool Bet Builder Preview
Arne Slot’s Liverpool travel south to take on Bournemouth in the late kick-off this Saturday evening and our football tipster has made his betting tips from the team to win odds, total goals, shots on target and yellow cards markets.
The Cherries have had a pretty poor season and find themselves in 15th, with only six wins from 22 games. They have won only two of their last 15 in all competitions.
Liverpool come into this one off the back of an impressive 0-3 Champions League win over Marseille in France. They’re fourth in the Premier League.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool Predictions
- Liverpool to win (10/11)
- Over 2.5 goals (8/13)
- Dominik Szoboszlai over 0.5 shots on target (6/5)
- Marcos Sensei to be booked (11/4)
Liverpool to win vs Bournemouth
I’m backing Liverpool to bring their Champions League form from midweek into this one, and I think they’ll come away with all three points. They have won 10, drawn six and lost six of their 22 Premier League outings so far, while Bournemouth have won only six, drawing nine and losing seven. Liverpool have won six of their last 10 in all competitions, drawing the other four. They haven’t lost since 26 November, when they were hammered 1-4 at Anfield against PSV in the Champions League.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Goals Tip – Over 2.5 goals
I expect there to be goals in this one. Liverpool have scored 33 in the league, conceding 29, which is the most goals conceded of any of the top four sides. Bournemouth have scored 35, which is remarkably the third highest in the league. They’ve also conceded 41, which is the third-highest number of goals conceded. There has been over 2.5 goals in five of Liverpool’s last 10, and over 2.5 in six of Bournemouth’s last 10, with the Cherries conceding 21 goals in that time.
ALTERNATIVE BET – both teams to score @ 4/7
Taking both team to score here increases the odds of this bet builder to 22/1 with Bet MGM. Both teams have scored in eight of Bournemouth’s last 10, with both teams on the scoresheet in five of Liverpool’s last 10.
BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Dominik Szoboszlai over 0.5 shots on target (6/5)
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai bagged his seventh goal of the season against Marseille on Wednesday evening. He has scored two in the league, four in the Champions League, and one in the FA Cup. He has had a total of 44 shots in the league – an average of more than two per game – with 13 of them being on target. He has also had 10 on target in nine Champions League appearances. I think 6/5 is good odds for him to have at least one here.
Bournemouth vs Liverpool Yellow Card Tip – Marcos Sensei to be booked
The player I’m backing for a booking here is Marcos Sensei. The Bournemouth defender has been carded seven times this season, all in the Premier League. In his 21 league outings, he has made 19 fouls, an average of just under one foul per game. Coming up against a strong Liverpool front line, I expect him to make a foul or two here, and at 11/4 he’s good odds to pick up a booking.
