It’s a huge game between Liverpool and Man City this weekend at Anfield, and we’ve got a 22/1 bet builder that looks solid.
Liverpool are fifth in the Premier League with 11 wins from 24, and have won four of their last 10 league matches, with five draws and one defeat in that time.
City have won five of their last 10 in all competitions, with five wins from their last 19 in the league. They’re second in the Premier League with 14 wins from 24 matches.

Liverpool vs Man City Predictions
- Man City to win (15/8)
- Both teams to score (1/2)
- Hugo Ekitike over 0.5 shots on target (8/15)
- Bernardo Silva to be booked (14/5)
Man City to win – 15/8
I think Man City will win this one away from home against Liverpool. It’s set to be an end-to-end, fiery match between two of the league’s top sides, but I fancy City to get the better of the Reds. Pep Guardiola’s side won the last fixture between these two back in November last year – a 3-0 victory at the Etihad. This one could go either way, but City are in better form, and at good odds of 15/8, I think taking them to win is a good bet here.
ALTERNATIVE BET – Man City or draw @ 8/13
I think City are more likely to win here, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see this one end in a draw. At 8/13, taking Man City or draw reduces the odds of this bet builder to a respectable 11/1.
BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Both teams to score @ 1/2
I expect both teams to score here. Both have exciting attacking players, and both sides have scored a good amount of goals this season – Liverpool with 39 and Man City with 49. Both teams have scored in seven of Liverpool’s last 10 in the league, with both teams scoring in four of the last 10 for City. Both teams have been on target in six of the last 10 meetings between these two, and I think both teams will be up for it this Sunday. Both teams to score is a good bet at 1/2.
Hugo Ekitike over 0.5 shots on target (8/15)
Liverpool striker Hugo Ekitike has been one of the better signings for the Reds this season since joining from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer. He has bagged 15 goals in all competitions this season, with 10 of them coming in his 21 Premier League appearances so far. He has had a total of 51 shots in that time, with 18 of them being on target, an average not far below one shot on target per match. Both sides will create chances here, and I reckon Ekitike will register at least one shot on target.
Bernardo Silva to be booked (14/5)
Bernardo Silva has been carded nine times this season, picking up five bookings in the Premier League, three in the Champions League and one in the Carabao Cup. He has made 28 fouls in 24 league matches, more than one foul per game on average. I think 14/5 is excellent odds for him to be booked here against a strong Liverpool side.
