We’re going for Man City to win both halves. They have got back to winning ways, following their dreadful run of form, and are unbeaten in their last three, winning their previous two. Salford will be hoping the magic of the cup will help them out here, but when you’re visiting the Etihad, you need to rely on a little more than that. I think City will win this comfortably, and win both halves. I also don’t think Salford will manage to get themselves on the scoresheet. This will be an interesting affair between two Manchester clubs, but City will control the tempo of the game, even if they have changed their first 11. Salford are coming here full of confidence having won their last six, but if City show up, it’ll be extremely hard for them to breach their defence. I think taking both teams not to score is pretty safe here. We’re taking Jack Grealish to have at least one shot on target here. He hasn’t featured as much as he’d like for City this season, and this is a great opportunity for him to get some game time and force his way back into the team. He is yet to score in the league this season, and has four shots on target in his 14 appearances both from the start and off the bench. If he plays, there’s a great chance he will get one here, however. Ossama Ashley is the one player we’re taking to be carded this weekend. The midfielder has picked up nine yellow cards in league two this season, and will be in for a very tough 90 minutes against Man City’s incredibly talented midfield.
