Matt Taylors move to Rotherham will be a huge blow for Exeter and I think their sub-standard performance last Saturday at home to Bristol Rovers is the start of them tailing off. Exeter have started the season well but I see that form crashing down in the coming weeks due to his departure.

Barnsley have won 4 of their last 5 and are finally showing signs of a promotion hopeful, after a slow-ish start. I think Barnsley are a huge price here to carry on that form and take all 3 points. Odds against at home here is value and im all over them as a bet of the day material.

Peterborough to win (-1 handicap) vs Burton – 13/10

Barring 1 blemish against Fleetwood, Peterborough’s home form reads 3-0, 4-0, 2-0 and 3-0 wins. 12 goals for and 0 goals against in 4 games is almost perfect and im always confident of backing them at home against anyone in L1. They are short enough in the win only market but im more than happy to bet on the -1 handicap and get those odds up to an attractive price. Burton have picked up since the resignation of JFH and 2 wins in their last 4 shows some signs of improvement. They are, however, streets away from a Peterborough team hoping to get back into the top 6 on Saturday and I cant see anything but a comprehensive home win for the Posh.

 

Plymouth to win vs Accrington – 7/10

Even though Argyle are top and have a bit of daylight to 3^rd, I still believe they are priced up as if they aren’t title contenders or in a false position. They aren’t as short as a Pompey/Ipswich/Sheffield Wednesday would be here and im loving that as it offers fantastic value.

Argyle are top for a reason and have played some fantastic football so far his season. They are a team who are 5 from 5 at home and in the process of doing so have beaten 2^nd, 3^rd, 5^th, 6^th and 7^th in the League 1 table. Quite an incredible stat. I see no issues what they would struggle or fail to win here at home to 9^th place Accrington.

John Coleman’s side are no mugs and are on a 3 game winning streak themselves which has seen them jump into the top half of the division. I don’t expect Argyle to have things all their own way in this one and they will have to be at their best to win but I do believe it is something that will happen as its becoming a habit for Argyle to do this season.
