Arsenal to win

What a season it has been for Arsenal. I don’t think they will stop the rot in this one however, and I’m backing title chasing Arsenal to do the business at Old Trafford.

 

Kai Havertz to score anytime

Kai Havertz looks like a different player in recent months in the red of Arsenal, really flourishing under Mikel Arteta. In his 35 league appearances this season, he has bagged 12 times, picking up six assists in the process. He has had 27 shots on target, giving him an average well above 0.5 shots on target per game. He has scored six goals in his last 10 league matches which is a great return, and I think Arsenal will create a lot of good chances here against a poor United defence. I think there’s a good chance Havertz will add to his goal tally in this one.

 

Casemiro to be booked

It’s sad to see, but Casemiro looks to be a shadow of the player he once was. A magnificent talent, but he seems well past the peak of his powers at the moment. That said, he has been filling in at centre half for United in recent weeks amidst injury crisis. The former Real Madrid man is aggressive and strong in the tackle, never shying from a 50/50. So far this season, he has picked up five yellow cards in his 22 league appearances, making 25 fouls, an average of over one per game. I think there’s a great chance he will be carded here against an excellent Arsenal side who will cause him and his defensive partners many difficulties.
