The summer transfer window is in full swing and, as usual, Manchester United are right in the thick of things with players finally being signed, and players leaving the club. After a tough 2024/25 season, fans and pundits have all been wondering: Who’s coming in, and will United finally get the boost they need? Who’s Already Signed?

United have wasted no time bringing in fresh faces. So far, they’ve added:
  1. Matheus Cunha: A £62.5 million signing from Wolves, the Brazilian forward brings flair and creativity. Fans are hoping he’ll provide some much-needed spark up front.
  2. Bryan Mbeumo: Coming in from Brentford for around £65–71 million, Mbeumo is fresh off a 20-goal season. He’s got pace, a good eye for goal, and plenty of Premier League experience.

  5. Harley Emsden-James: At just 16, this centre-back has joined from Southampton for £1 million. Like Leon, he’s a prospect for the coming years.

Who Could Come Next?

The transfer rumours just keep rolling. United are still looking to add more firepower, especially up front and in midfield. Here are some of the names popping up:
  • Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig): United have their eye on him, and there’s talk of a £68–86 million release clause.
  • Nicolas Jackson (Chelsea) and Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa): Both are being mentioned as possible options if United decide to bring in another big-name striker.
  • Central Midfield: Don’t be surprised if United add a midfielder or two before the window closes—the club is keen to improve squad depth.

Who’s Leaving?

Naturally, some familiar faces are heading out to make way for the new arrivals. Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelöf have said their goodbyes, and Jonny Evans has retired (though he’s sticking around in the backroom staff). With Ruben Amorim as manager and a new director of football at the helm, there’s a clear push for a fresh start. The club is blending proven signings like Cunha and Mbeumo with exciting young talent, aiming to improve right now and build for the future.

All signs point to yes! United have already been busy this summer and are expected to pull off a couple more signings before the window slams shut on September 1. Fans should keep an eye out. There’s bound to be more action, drama, and (hopefully) some exciting new faces running out at Old Trafford next season.
