Luton vs Chelsea Prediction

Although the Chelsea of late isn’t the Chelsea we are used to, certainly results-wise anyway, they have been playing some good football. The Blues have lost just one of their last four, and may have turned a corner. Coming up against lowly Luton Town in this one, I think they will come away with all three points. That said, Luton have won their last two, and will be hoping their fine run continues. I don’t think it will though, and I think the Hatters will stay in the relegation zone with a defeat to Chelsea.

 

Both teams to score

While I think Chelsea will come away with the points, I don’t think it’ll be easy for the Blues. Like I said, Luton have won both of their last two matches, and they’ll be right up for this one against their city rivals. They have scored in each of their last six matches in the league, and have only failed to score in four of their 18 Premier League matches. Chelsea have scored in 13 of their 19 league fixtures. I think this selection will land fairly easily.

 

Marvelous Nakamba to be booked

Marvelous Nakamba has a reputation for getting stuck in, and it will be no different this weekend. The midfielder has played in 13 of Luton’s Prem fixtures so far this season, picking up five bookings in that time. He has made a total of 24 fouls, which is almost two per match, and I think he will be forced into a couple this weekend. Coming up against the likes of Conor Gallagher will be tough for the former Villa man, and I think he is great odds to pick up his sixth booking of the season.
