Christensen has received very few career cards as he has usually been a centre back that hardly committed fouls. In the 26 games he has started for Barcelona in La Liga and the Champions League this season, Christensen played the first 18 as a centre back, only committing 8 fouls in total and being booked once. In comparison, the last 8 games has seen Christensen move into a central midfield role, where he has committed 16 fouls, receiving 4 bookings in the process. In 1 of his 2 starts against Atletico for Barcelona, he has been carded. The current market reflects Christensen as a centre back, however in this new role further up the pitch, he’s far more likely to be carded.  With 32 yellow cards and 3 red cards handed out in the last 5 meetings between these sides, it unlikely to be short of bookings.
