Tuesday’s Premier League Tips – 35/1, 11/1 and 2/1 Bets to Place on Tuesday’s Fixtures

Premier League betting tips

It’s the first group of midweek games in the 2022/23 Premier League season as we’re treated to 10 games across, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off the back of a thrilling weekend of action.

Liverpool equalled the record for the biggest win in the competition’s history by beating Bournemouth 9-0, just as Erling Haaland netted his first Premier League hat-trick as he started to repay Haaland top goalscorer backers. The North London giants also continued to win, and we’ve put together our favourite bets for the games this Tuesday.

Leeds vs Everton Betting Tip

  • OVER 2.5 GOALS AND LEEDS TO WIN – 2/1

What a season it’s been for Leeds United so far. Jesse Marsch’s men have eased the fears around Elland Road of another relegation battle, while the American has done exceptionally well in moving off the top spot in the market for the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

As of now, Marsch sees his side sit fifth in the league after a narrow loss at the AMEX to Brighton & Hove Albion. This was Leeds’ first loss of the season in all competitions after also defeating Barnsley 3-1 in the EFL Cup, which also means the Whites have seen over 2.5 goals come in all their games besides the loss to Brighton.

As for Everton, they remain winless in the league and are even coming off the back of a 1-1 draw with Brentford where they led for much of the game after Anthony Gordon’s strike. We don’t see how Everton get the win here, as Leeds’ attack may just be too strong for the Toffees.

Southampton vs Chelsea Betting Tip

STERLING TO SCORE FIRST AND CHELSEA TO WIN 2-0 – 35/1

Raheem Sterling is off and running with Chelsea in the Premier League after two well-taken goals against Leicester City last weekend. The former Manchester City star scored from a deflected effort from range to kick off his goalscoring ways with the Blues, before a Sterling-esque run into the box saw him tap home from yards out into an open goal.

What’s more, the likes of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount are continuing to struggle in finding the goal this season and with no striker on Chelsea’s books right now, all goalscoring attention is falling on the shoulders of Sterling.

Southampton did look promising against Manchester United at times, but they failed to mount anything that impressive on David De Gea’s goal throughout, despite seeing so much of the ball. Ultimately, with Adam Armstrong still not finding his feet, it seems that if Che Adams is not scoring for the Saints, they won’t score at all.

Chelsea are back in the win column after that stunning 3-0 loss at Elland Road, and we think they’ll stroll to a victory here with Sterling getting in on the act once again.

Crystal Palace vs Brentford Betting Tip

  • A 1-1 DRAW BETWEEN PALACE AND BRENTFORD – 11/2

Brentford and Crystal Palace will meet at Selhurst Park in yet another London derby this Premier League season, and results so far have made this one very tough to call. Ahead of the clash, Palace have managed to rack up an impressive draw at Anfield, beat Aston Villa 3-1, but also lost against Arsenal and City by conceding six goals in those two defeats.

Brentford are in similar boat when it comes to inconsistencies. Their magical 4-0 demolition against United seems like a distant memory now, with the club coming back to draw 1-1, while also losing 3-2 to Fulham the game after their win over United.

If Brentford can return to find a performance similar to the one that hammered United, then they should win here. However, goals have started to leak in and Ivan Toney has often looked starved up top.

Palace will be slightly confident after going 2-0 up at the Etihad, but four goals later forced their second loss of the season, so we’re heading for a 1-1 draw in this game at 11/2 with Paddy Power.
