LiveScore Bet are offering a £10 free bet every single day of the 2026 Cheltenham Festival. Bet on the first race each day — the 1.20pm — at minimum odds of Evens, and you’ll receive a £10 free bet to use on horse racing the same day. Do it across all four days, and that’s £40 in free bets on top of whatever you win from your qualifying bets.
The offer is available to both new and existing LiveScore Bet customers. And if you haven’t got an account yet, their welcome offer gives you £30 in free bets just for signing up — so new customers have access to both.

How the Daily Free Bet Works
The offer is straightforward. Each day of the Cheltenham Festival — Champion Day (Tuesday 10th), Ladies Day (Wednesday 11th), St Patrick’s Thursday (12th) and Gold Cup Day (Friday 13th) — LiveScore Bet will give you a £10 free bet if you place a qualifying bet on the first race of the day.
Step by step:
- Log in to your LiveScoreBet account on the day
- Place your first cash bet of the day on the 13:20 race at Cheltenham at minimum odds of Evens (1/1)
- The bet must be a win single — each-way bets do not qualify
- Once the race settles, your £10 free bet is credited to your account
- Use the free bet on any horse racing market the same day
That’s it — four days, four qualifying bets on the opening race, four £10 free bets back.
Full offer terms: Free Bet up to £10. 1st cash bet on first race of Cheltenham each day. Min odds EVS (excl. e/w bets). Free Bet: use same day on horse racing. Stakes not returned. T&Cs apply. Bet Responsibly. GambleAware.org. 18+

Key Things to Know Before You Bet
It must be a win single. Each-way bets do not count towards the daily free bet trigger. Place a straight win bet on the 13:20 at odds of Evens or greater.
It’s your first cash bet of the day. The qualifying bet must be the first cash bet you place that day. Don’t accidentally place another bet before the 13:20 race.
The free bet must be used the same day. Unlike most free bets which give you 7 days, this one expires at the end of the same day. Use it on a later Cheltenham race before the card finishes — don’t leave it sitting there.
It’s restricted to horse racing. The £10 free bet you receive can only be used on horse racing markets. It can’t be used on another sport.
Both new and existing customers qualify. This is not a new customer-only offer. If you’ve had a LiveScore Bet account for years, you can still claim a £10 free bet each day of the Festival.
Betfred are giving all customers a £10 free bet each day as well.
The 13:20 Races — What You’re Betting On
| Day | Date | 13:20 Race |
|---|---|---|
| Champion Day | Tuesday 10th March | Supreme Novices’ Hurdle |
| Ladies Day | Wednesday 11th March | Turners Novices’ Hurdle |
| St Patrick’s Thursday | Thursday 12th March | Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle |
| Gold Cup Day | Friday 13th March | JCB Triumph Hurdle |
All four are graded races — you’re not being asked to burn a qualifying bet on a maiden hurdle. These are the feature races that open each day’s card and are worth following regardless of the offer.

How to Get the Most From Four Days of Free Bets
Running the offer on all four days gives you £40 in free bets across the Festival. A few tips on deploying them:
Target a longer-priced selection. The free bet stake isn’t returned with winnings, so backing a short-priced favourite with it limits your upside. At 6/4 your £10 free bet returns £15. At 8/1 it returns £80. The later races on each day’s card — particularly the big handicaps — tend to have wider markets with more value to find.
Wait for the right race. Once the 13:20 settles you’ll have several races left on the card. There’s no rush to use the free bet immediately — take your time and pick a race where you have a view rather than placing it on the next race out of habit.
Check the tips first. Our tipsters cover every race at the Festival. If you’re unsure where to use your free bet on a given day, check the day’s tips page before committing.
