FA Cup Quarter Final Matches – Saturday 4th April
Chelsea vs Port Vale — 5:15pm
The tie that most naturally suits Coral is the afternoon kick-off at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea host League One’s bottom side Port Vale in the most one-sided tie of the quarter finals, and Coral are one of the best bookmakers for domestic cup football markets.
Chelsea scored four goals in each of their last two FA Cup matches – against Wrexham and Hull City. Despite losing their last four matches in all competitions, including an 8-2 aggregate hammering by PSG in the Champions League, this is a completely different proposition. League One’s bottom side, who have conceded 55 goals in 38 league matches this season, travel to Stamford Bridge with Chelsea desperate to end their poor run and reach the semi-finals.
Cole Palmer has 10 goals in all competitions this season and is Chelsea’s designated penalty taker. The Blues have scored four in each of their last two FA Cup ties against Championship opposition – against League One’s bottom side at home, another big performance looks well within reach.
Our tipster has a 25/1 bet builder with Coral combining Chelsea to score over 3.5 goals, Cole Palmer to score anytime, Funso Ojo to be booked, and Liam Gordon to be booked. Port Vale’s Funso Ojo has been carded eight times in 27 League One appearances this season, and Liam Gordon five times in all competitions. Both are good odds for a card against a Chelsea attack that will have them under sustained pressure throughout.

Manchester City vs Liverpool — 12:45pm
The early kick-off at the Etihad is the standout tie of the round. Man City host Liverpool in a fixture with goals guaranteed – both teams have scored in nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions, and both teams have scored in six of the last 10 meetings between these two sides.
City are second in the Premier League with 60 goals scored this season and have won their last two meetings with Liverpool. Liverpool arrive fifth in the league and are determined to salvage something meaningful from a disappointing domestic campaign. A place in the FA Cup semi-final would represent a significant moment in Arne Slot’s second season.
Bernardo Silva has been booked 15 times in all competitions this season, making 48 fouls in 42 appearances, and Ibrahima Konate has been booked seven times, averaging more than one foul per game. Both are strong card picks in a game that is likely to be physical in midfield from the first whistle.
Our tipster has a 35/1 bet builder with Ladbrokes combining Man City to win, both teams to score, Bernardo Silva to be booked, and Ibrahima Konate to be booked.

Southampton vs Arsenal — 8:00pm
Championship Southampton host Premier League leaders Arsenal at St Mary’s in the evening kick-off. Southampton arrive unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions – 11 wins and three draws since mid-January – and are the form team in the Championship.
Arsenal are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League and have scored 20 goals in their last 10 matches. With a World Cup summer ahead and a semi-final place at stake, Mikel Arteta’s side will be fully motivated. But Southampton’s 14-match unbeaten run makes this a much more dangerous tie than the league positions suggest.
Flynn Downes has been booked 13 times in all competitions this season, making 58 fouls in 36 appearances – an average of more than 1.5 per game. Against a strong Arsenal midfield, the chances of a 14th booking are high.
Our tipster has a 13/2 bet builder with bet365 combining Arsenal to win, over 3.5 goals, Bukayo Saka over 0.5 shots on target and Flynn Downes to be booked.
