bet365 Minimum Deposit
The bet365 minimum deposit is £5 across most methods — debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Trustly and Paysafecard. The two higher minimums are PayPal at £25 and bank transfer at £100. If you want to deposit a small amount and claim the welcome offer, a £5 debit card deposit is the way to do it (you only need to stake £10 to unlock the full £30, so £5 covers the minimum deposit and you can top up to your qualifying stake).
Which bet365 Deposit Methods Qualify for the Welcome Offer?
This is the detail that costs people the bonus, so it’s worth being clear. By default, only debit card deposits qualify for the Bet £10 Get £30 welcome offer. PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Paysafecard and prepaid cards are excluded unless you have completed full ID verification — that means uploading ID and submitting a Postal Verification Code (PVC) or two forms of ID before you deposit.

bet365 Deposit Methods in Detail
Debit cards (Visa & Mastercard). The default choice — £5 to £20,000, instant, no fee, and the only method that triggers the welcome bonus by default. Use this for your first deposit.
Apple Pay & Google Pay. The most convenient options for mobile users — £5 to £5,000, instant, no fee. The catch is bonus eligibility: neither qualifies for the welcome offer unless your account is fully verified first.
Trustly. An instant bank-to-bank method, £5 to £25,000, no fee. Fast and secure, and it doubles as one of the quicker withdrawal options. To be certain of bonus eligibility, still use a debit card for your very first deposit.
Paysafecard. A prepaid voucher, £5 minimum, instant, no fee — handy if you’d rather not use a card or bank directly. Two things to know: you can’t withdraw back to Paysafecard, and it doesn’t qualify for the welcome bonus.
PayPal. Works at bet365 but with a high £25 minimum deposit (unusual for such a big book) and a £5,500 maximum. It doesn’t trigger the welcome offer, so it’s best kept for later deposits rather than your first.
Bank transfer. The high-roller option — £100 minimum but up to £100,000, no fee. The downside is speed: deposits can take 2–10 business days depending on your bank, so it’s not the one to use if you want to bet today.
Why Is bet365 Not Letting Me Deposit?
If a deposit won’t go through, it’s usually one of four things:
Account not verified. You can’t deposit until your account is verified — upload your KYC documents (reviewed within ~48 hours) and try again.
Card or bank details declined. Double-check the details; if they’re correct, your bank may be blocking a gambling transaction, so contact them or bet365 live chat.
Deposit limit reached. Check whether you’ve hit a responsible-gambling deposit limit you set, or have insufficient funds.
Technical issue. At peak Saturday football, the app can struggle. Update or reinstall the app, or clear your browser cache on the site, then retry.
bet365 Deposit Limits (Responsible Gambling)
bet365 lets you set a deposit limit over a 24-hour, 7-day or 30-day period. You can decrease a limit at any time and it applies immediately; increases are delayed as a safeguard (72 hours for the daily limit, and longer for the weekly and monthly).
