What is Ladbrokes The Grid?

The Grid is Ladbrokes’ free loyalty card for in-store and online betting customers. It links your shop betting activity to your online Ladbrokes account, giving you access to online promotions when betting in-store and earning you loyalty points on qualifying bets.

You need an online Ladbrokes account to use The Grid. The card comes in two forms – a physical card you collect in-store or receive in the post, and a virtual card accessible directly through the Ladbrokes website or app.

How Does The Grid Work?

When you place a bet in a Ladbrokes shop, you present your Grid card at the counter. The card is scanned, and your betting activity is logged to your account. This triggers the loyalty points system and ensures you receive any in-store promotions you are eligible for.

Loyalty points: You earn 1 point for every £4 spent on sports bets in-store. Points accumulate and can be redeemed against rewards.

Online promotions in-store: This is the most commercially useful Grid benefit. It extends your online Ladbrokes promotions into the shop. Best Odds Guaranteed on selected UK and Irish horse racing applies automatically when betting in-store with your Grid card. Acca insurance, acca boost and other eligible promotions also carry over to shop bets via The Grid – meaning you do not miss out on valuable online offers just because you are betting in a shop.

Bet tracking: You can check the status of your shop bets by entering the receipt number from your betting slip into the Ladbrokes app or website. The tracker shows results for your active bets in real time.

Deposits and withdrawals: Since June 2025, Grid cardholders can deposit up to £1,000 and withdraw up to £5,000 per month directly at the shop counter, linked to their online account. This is a significant practical benefit – you can cash out online winnings at your local Ladbrokes shop rather than waiting for a bank transfer.

How to Get a Ladbrokes Grid Card

Getting a Grid card takes a matter of minutes. There are two routes.

In-store: Walk into any Ladbrokes betting shop and ask at the counter for a Grid card. Give your name and mobile number – you may also need to show ID. You will receive a four-digit verification code by text to confirm registration. Your physical card is provided at the counter or sent to your registered address by post.

Online/app: Log in to your Ladbrokes account at ladbrokes.com or on the Ladbrokes app. Navigate to The Grid section – on desktop it sits in the top navigation menu, on the app swipe left on the icon menu to find The Grid icon on the far right. Accept the terms and click Join Now. You will receive a unique 12-digit virtual Grid card number immediately. A physical card will also be sent in the post.

You need an existing Ladbrokes online account to apply. If you do not have one, register via our Ladbrokes sign-up offer to get Bet £5 Get £30 in Free Bets as a new customer before applying for The Grid.

How to Use The Grid Card In-Store

Once you have your card – physical or virtual – using it is straightforward:

  1. Place your bet at the Ladbrokes shop counter as normal
  2. Present your Grid card or give your card number
  3. The card is scanned and your bet is logged to your account
  4. Any applicable promotions – BOG, acca insurance, acca boost – are automatically applied
  5. Loyalty points are added to your account balance

For in-store bets you want to track, enter the 13 or 14 digit receipt number from your betting slip into The Grid section of the app or website. Your bet status updates in real time.

Ladbrokes Grid Card vs Coral Connect Card

Ladbrokes and Coral are part of the same group and both operate similar in-store loyalty card schemes. The Grid and Coral Connect serve broadly the same purpose – linking shop and online activity, extending online promotions to in-store bets, and offering partner discounts.

If you have accounts with both bookmakers, both cards are worth holding. The promotions available differ and having both means you can access in-store betting offers at both chains.

FAQs

Is the Ladbrokes Grid card free?

Yes. The Grid card is completely free to apply for and there is no ongoing cost.

Do I need a Ladbrokes online account to get a Grid card?

Yes. You need an online Ladbrokes account before applying for The Grid, either in-store or online. If you do not have one, register via our sign-up offer page.

Can I use the Grid card to withdraw cash in-store?

Yes. Since June 2025 Grid card holders can withdraw up to £5,000 per month from their online account balance at the shop counter. You can also deposit up to £1,000 per month via the shop counter into your online account.

Does the Grid card work online?

The loyalty points and partner discounts are primarily for in-store use. The main online benefit is that your Grid card links your shop bets to your online account for tracking purposes and ensures online promotions like Best Odds Guaranteed apply to your in-store bets.

What happened to the Ladbrokes Grid bet tracker?

The original dedicated bet tracker feature – which allowed full digital tracking of in-store bets – was scaled back. Basic bet checking by entering your receipt number is still available through the app and website.

Can I still deposit onto a Grid card?

The option to hold a balance directly on the Grid card was removed in April 2023. You can still deposit and withdraw cash at the counter linked to your online account, but funds are held in your online account rather than on the card itself.
