Liverpool v Chelsea bet builder tips and match predictions for Sunday’s fixture in the Premier League. We have picked a team to win, both teams to score and a player to be carded. Betting odds:

League leaders Liverpool welcome Chelsea to Anfield this weekend in one of the more exciting matches in this round of fixtures. Liverpool are currently top of the pile, with Arne Slot’s side 7/2 to win the league this season. Chelsea have had a decent start with four wins from their opening seven Prem matches, leaving them fourth in the table. They are 8/11 to be in the top four come the end of the season.

Both teams have had a good start to the season, but we’re going for table toppers Liverpool to come away with all three points at Anfield this Sunday. They have lost just one of the opening seven matches, and have won their last six in all competitions. This one will be end to end, but with Liverpool’s outstanding counter attack, I expect them to come out on top.

I did say this would be end to end, and although I think Arne Slot’s side will reign victorious, I do also think both teams will score. Chelsea have scored 16 goals in their opening seven, just one less than top scorers Man City. They have been excellent in front of goal, and I think they’ll keep going with that and both teams will score.  

• 🥅Luiz Diaz to score anytime

Luiz Diaz has five goals so far this season, which is a great return from seven games. We’re backing him to get another goal this weekend against Chelsea. In the first seven games of the season, he has had 15 shots, with eight on target, an average of over one on target per game. He will get chances here, and I think there’s a good chance of him getting his sixth of the season.  

• 🟨Moises Caicedo to be booked

Moises Caicedo has been a good shout for a card for as long as he’s been in the Premier League. This season, he has been booked twice for Chelsea in seven appearances. Last season, he picked up 11 yellow cards, and I think he will reach that at a minimum this campaign. Liverpool will be one of the tougher opponents this season, and I think he will be forced into a number of fouls. He’s good odds for a card here.
