Arsenal vs Ipswich bet builder tips and match predictions for this Friday’s fixture in the Premier League with a player to be carded and player to score anytime tipped. Betting odds:
  • Arsenal are huge 1/7 favourites at home
  • The draw is 15/2
  • An Ipswich win away from home is 14/1
Arsenal have had a strong first half to the season as we head into 2025 with the Gunners third in the league. They are six points off league leaders Liverpool, and are 7/2 to end the season as Premier League champions. Ipswich Town are really struggling having come up from the Championship last season. They have just two wins from 17 league matches, drawing six and losing nine. That said, they are only two points away from safety at the moment so all is not lost. They are 2/5 to be relegated and 7/4 to stay up.

Arsenal vs Ipswich Predictions

The odds for Arsenal to win the game are poor, so we are taking Arsenal to win both halves. Given the distance between these two in the league table, I think this one has a great chance and should happen. Arsenal hammered Crystal Palace, who are in a similar position to Ipswich, 5-1 last tine out. I think they could do the same here against an Ipswich side who were hammered 0-4 by Newcastle in their last fixture. Gabriel Jesus has really found some form of late. The Brazilian has scored five goals in has last two games, both against Crystal Palace, a 3-2 win in the cup and a 1-5 win in the league. Those goals take him to six for the season, and I think he could really kick on from here. Arsenal will have plenty of chances, and I think they’ll score plenty of goals. Jesus will be at the heart of their attacks, and I think he’s fantastic odds to grab his sixth goal in three matches. I don’t think Ipswich will find the back of the net here against the Gunners. The Tractor Boys have failed to score in three of their last five matches and have scored just 16 goals this season – the third lowest in the league. Arsenal have conceded just four in their last five league matches, keeping two clean sheets in that time and conceding just one in a 1-5 hammering of Crystal Palace. They have the joint best defensive record in the league alongside leaders Liverpool, having conceded just 16 goals, and I think there’s a great chance of them keeping a clean sheet again in this one. Our final selection is Ipswich’s Liam Delap to be carded. The striker has picked up five bookings already this season, which is a lot for a forward player. Arsenal’s defence are comfortable in possession, which may lead to Delap fouling in frustration as he looks to win the ball back and set his team on the front foot at the right end of the pitch. He has made a massive 36 fouls in his 16 league appearances this season, which may be largely down to inexperience, and I think there’s a good chance he’ll be carded again in this one.

Arsenal vs Ipswich Bet Builder Tip

  • Arsenal to win both halves
  • Gabriel Jesus to score
  • Both teams to score – No
  • Liam Delap to be booked
