We’re backing Arsenal to come out on top here and progress to the next round. The Gunners have had a good season and have won 11, drawn seven and lost only two of their Premier League fixtures this season. Arsenal have won the last four meetings between these two sides, and despite United’s valiant performance against Liverpool last week, I think Arsenal will have too much for them in this fixture at the Emirates. We’re going for Arsenal’s German forward Kai Havertz to have over 0.5 shots on target. He has 12 goals to his name this season in all competitions, with 16 shots on target in his 17 league appearances, an average of just under one per game. In his last 10 matches, he averages just under 1.5 shots on target per match, so I think he’s good odds to have at least one in this one. The two players we’re backing to pick up a booking are two midfielders, Arsenal’s Thomas Partey and United’s Manuel Ugarte. Ugarte has picked up six bookings for United this season, five in the Premier League and one in the Europa League. It’ll be a tough 90 for him here against the likes of Partey in the Arsenal midfield. Partey has been carded twice this season, but we all know about his ability to never shy out of a 50/50. United’s midfield will be aggressive and he will have to match them and come out on top, and I think there’s a great chance he’ll commit a few fouls and pick up a card in the process.
