Crystal Palace vs Brentford Predictions

I’m backing both teams to score in this one between Crystal Palace and Brentford. Both teams are pretty evenly matched with just one point between them in the league, and despite Palace not conceding two in their last six, with none scored against them in their last three in all competitions, I do think both teams will score here. Brentford have scored a very good 40 goals, the highest of any team outside the top five. They also concede a lot of goals, with 39 against them this season. I think both teams to score is a safe bet here. Bryan Mbuemo is having a great season for the Bees. The striker has bagged 13 goals in his 22 appearances this season, and I think there’s a great chance of him having at least one shot on target in this one. He has had 26 shots on target in those games, which is an average of over one per game. There will be a lot of chances for both teams in this one, and he’s great odds to have one or more shots on target. We’ve gone for two places to be carded – Jefferson Lerma and Christian Norgaard. Lerma has picked up five bookings so far this season, four in his 17 league appearances and one in three Carabao Cup games. He averages over one foul per game with 18 in the league, and I think he will make a few here. Norgaard also has five yellow cards to his name this season with four in the league and one in the Carabao Cup. He has also been sent off once in the league this season, so six cards overall. He has fouled 27 times in the league, and I expect him to make more fouls here. Both players are good odds for a yellow card in this one.
