Djurgarden vs Chelsea Predictions

I think Chelsea will win this one competently, despite being away from home. They are heavy favourites to win the competition, and even bigger favourites for the win in this one. I’m backing them to score over two goals against Djurgarden here. In the first leg of the quarter-final, Chelsea scored three on the road against Legia Warsaw, and have scored two or more in three of their last five in all competitions. Djurgarden are 11^th in the Allsvenskan after five games this season, and I think Chelsea will have more than enough for them here, and score more than two goals on their way to victory.

I think Nicolas Jackson will get himself on the scoresheet as well. The Chelsea striker has 11 goals in his 33 appearances in all competitions this season, with 10 coming in the Premier League and one in the Carabao Cup. Jackson has a lot of chances, and in the league, has had 74 shots in 28 appearances, with 33 shots on target. Chelsea will have a lot of the ball here, and I think Jackson will have a number of chances here. I expect he will take at least one of them.

I also think Noni Madueke will have at least one shot on target. He has seven goals to his name this season, all coming in his 28 Premier League appearances. In the league, he has had 31 shots on target, giving him an average of more than one shot on target per game. As I said, Chelsea will create a lot of chances here, and I think Madueke will have at least one shot on target.

I’m going for Djurgarden midfielder Daniel Stensson to be carded here. He has been carded twice this season, once in his four Allsvenskan appearances and once in the Svenska Cupen. He will be in for a very difficult 90 minutes here against a good Chelsea side who will have most of the ball, and I think he will be forced into making several fouls. He’s good odds to pick up a card here.
