I think Liverpool will win this Merseyside derby under the lights at Anfield. The Reds have one hand on the Premier League title, 12 points clear of second placed Arsenal. They have won seven of their last 10 in the league, drawing the other three. They have lost only one game in the league this season. Everton have lost nine this season, drawing 13, which is the highest number of draws in the league. The Toffees have also drawn five of their last six in the league, with their last league defeat coming in January. However, I think Liverpool will win here with the home advantage. I’m also backing both teams to score here. For Everton, both teams have scored in eight of their last 10 league matches. For Liverpool, both teams have scored in six of their last 10 in the league. Everton have conceded 36 and scored 32, while Liverpool have scored the most goals in the league with 69, and conceded 27. When these two last met in February, they played out a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park, and I think both teams will score again here. Mo Salah has once again been Liverpool’s main man throughout this campaign, and we’re backing him to either score or assist again here. The Egyptian has scored 33 goals and had 22 assists this season, with 27 goals and 17 assists in his 29 Premier League appearances. He has scored nine in his last 10 Premier League matches, including one last time out against Everton in that 2-2 draw away from home. I think he’s great odds to either score or assist here. Abdoulaye Doucoure is a physical and aggressive midfielder, and he’s who I’ve backed to be booked in this derby fixture. He has been carded four times in the league this season, with three yellow cards and one red to his name so far this season. He has made 40 fouls in 25 league appearances this season, an average of 1.5 per game. This will be a fiery derby game, and I think he’s good odds to pick up his fifth card of the season here.
