PSG vs Arsenal Predictions

I’m backing PSG to win this one at home to Arsenal. They did lose last time out against Strasbourg, but I expect them to bounce back here in the Champions League. They have won 15 of their last 20 games in all competitions, with 24 wins, six draws and two defeats in their 32 league matches this season. Arsenal are winless in three, and come into this one off the back of a 1-2 defeat against Bournemouth. I think PSG will have too much for the Gunners in this one.

I’ve gone for PSG’s Desire Doue to score or assist in this one. He has 13 goals and eight assists to his name this season, with six goals and six assists in the league, three goals and two assists in the Champions League and four goals in the French Cup. He is a very impressive young player, and at just 19 years old, has played 49 games for PSG this season. He was on target in the first leg of the quarter-final against Aston Villa, and I think he’s great odds to either score or assist against Arsenal here.

We’ve gone for two players to be carded in this one – PSG’s Lucas Beraldo and Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly. Beraldo has been carded six times this season, with five bookings in Ligue One and one card in the French Cup. He has committed 21 fouls in the league this season, giving him an average of 0.99 per game. Myles Lewis-Skelly has been shown yellow four times this season, twice in the league, once in the Champions League and once in the Carabao Cup. He has also been sent off twice in the Premier League this season. He averages 0.5 fouls per game in the league, and will be in for a very difficult game here against an extremely talented PSG forward line. I think both players are great odds to be carded in this one.
