Weekend Accumulator Tips – 5 Picks for a 25/1 Acca on Saturday

Football accumulator tips

This weekend’s Saturday accumulator tip comes from both England and Italy and the odds for the bet are 25/1 at SBK, which is the best odds of any bookies.

Our bet gets underway at 3pm with four selections from the Premier League and Football League before we have to wait until 5.30pm for AC Milan to hopefully complete the win with a victory over Udinese.

If you wanted to leave the late kick-off out of the accumulator then you’d be getting 17/1 for the four 3pm kick-offs.

See our Saturday football tips below with reasons for each prediction.

Arsenal to beat Leicester City

Arsenal made a flying start to their Premier League campaign with a win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park last weekend, with a Gabriel Martinelli strike and a fortuitous Marc Guehi own goal proving to be the difference between the two sides.

It could and should have been more as Mikel Arteta’s men flew out of the blocks – and with a game against Leicester on the horizon, the same cannot be said of their opponents.

Leicester are going through a rough patch at the moment having made no signings at the time of writing, losing Kasper Schmeichel to Nice on a free transfer and Ricardo Pereira to a six-month injury on the opening day of the season.

Backed by a buoyant home crowd and coming up against an out-of-sorts Brendan Rodgers, Arsenal represent a sensible choice at 1/2 odds.

Brighton to beat Newcastle United

Brighton embarrassed Manchester United at their lowest ebb towards the end of last season with a 4-0 win over the Red Devils at the AMEX Stadium in their last home game of the campaign, and did so again to spoil Erik ten Hag’s first day out as boss under the watchful eye of Old Trafford in this season’s opener.

Their immense form will be hoping to carry on against Newcastle as fans flock to the south coast to watch two of the league’s most exciting sides.

And despite Newcastle’s superb form under Eddie Howe, Brighton’s home record last season vastly turned itself around towards the end of the campaign – which at 6/4, is a superb price to take up.

Millwall to beat Coventry City

Coventry exceeded expectations last season with a 12th-placed finish in the Championship, giving clubs reason to believe the Sky Blues are a decent challenge when faced up against them.

However, they have suffered a series of setbacks in recent weeks with an injury to star man Callum O’Hare, Premier League interest in striker Viktor Gyokeres and most importantly, being forced to play away from home yet against given the state of their pitch after the Commonwealth Games hosted rugby fixtures at the Ricoh Arena.

Evidently, that will not matter away at the New Den in front of one of the division’s most fearsome teams to beat in Millwall, and the 4-1 loss at “home” to Bristol City in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday at Burton’s Pirelli Stadium could have knocked the stuffing out of the players’ confidence. 29/20 is a superb price for the Lions to win.

Ipswich Town to beat MK Dons

MK Dons came within goal difference of reaching Championship football last season; they could not be further away if they tried so far this campaign.

Replacing Scott Twine, Harry Darling and Troy Parrott was always going to be a hard task to complete, and so far their signings have failed to deliver as they sit in the relegation zone, failing to score.

On the other hand, Ipswich have been impressive once again in their transfer dealings by strengthening what was last season’s lowest conceding defence outside of the top three without losing any real first-team candidates of note in that department. At a 5/6 price, Portman Road should see its record of just one league loss in the calendar year continue.

AC Milan to beat Udinese

Last year’s Scudetto champions will aim to kick off the current campaign with a routine home win against Udinese, who finished in 12th.

Stefano Pioli’s men have strengthened in numbers with the arrivals of Alessandro Florenzi, Divock Origi and Charles de Ketelaere, whilst Franck Kessie is only the real departure of note.

And by winning 12 of their 19 home games last season, 3/7 is a good price as fans expect them to kick their season off to a winning start at the San Siro.
