No bet for today.
In this type of bet, you need to predict how many corners you think will be given in the match in question. The normal way to bet on this is to go for over or under a certain amount. e.g. you could bet on over 12 corners to be given between the two teams in any given match. You could also bet on total corners for just one of the teams. e.g. if Manchester United were playing Liverpool, you could bet on Liverpool getting more than 7 corners in the match. The other option would be to bet on them getting less than 7 corners.
There are a number of ways you could bet on total corners in a match, but our favourite strategy is to bet on matches where neither team pays much attention to defending. If there was a fixture taking place where you think it will be end to end action, this would be a great option for betting on a high number of corners, something like over 8.5 corners in the first half could be an option for a big odds bet.
Attacking teams always get more corners because they spend more time in the oppositions half of the field, but the tricky thing with our corner tips, is always how high do we go with the number of corners for that particular team. A team like Manchester City are likely to have a lot of possession whoever they play, but particularly against the lower Premier League teams such as Crystal Palace, Sheffield United, Norwich or Burnley. For a match like this, our corner kick prediction would be very high for Manchester City, and very low for the opposition.
The weekend fixtures is always where the best opportunities for corner betting tips come in, because there are so many matches to choose from. If you are new to corner betting, we’d advise keeping things quite simple at the start and maybe picking one or two selections on a Saturday afternoon to have a small bet on. You can pick your own corner bet predictions for this, something like Liverpool to have over 5.5 corners at home to Leicester might be a good bet this weekend, because both teams will be quite attacking and Liverpool have home advantage.
You can also look down into the lower leagues for this weekend’s corner tips, a team like Leeds United are likely to have a lot of corners, especially if they are at home this weekend. They play attacking football and that is exactly what you want when picking this kind of bet.
