Lawro’s Predictions for the Premier League
When there is a Premier League fixture list, BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson will predict the scores of each match and offer his reasons why he thinks that will be the outcome.
He will usually play it cautiously and predict the winner to be the favourite but every so often, Lawro likes to look beyond this and predict an upset.
Earlier this season, he predicted Liverpool would lose against Manchester City. The first time he had predicted a loss for Liverpool in 159 matches. He was proved wrong as they drew with City.

The weekend above was a poor one for Lawro, but he did claw some points back by correctly predicting Wolves vs Tottenham would end in a 1-1 draw.

Lawro is quite hit and miss with his Premier League predictions. He usually plays it quite safe and predicts a win for the favourite or the home team. However, he does like to throw in some surprise predictions and from time to time, they are correct.
