Crystal Palace vs Wolves Betting Tips for a 7/1 Bet Builder

Crystal Palace predictions

Crystal Palace vs Wolves bet builder tips for the second Tuesday night fixture in the Premier League, live on Amazon Prime this week.

It has been a poor start to the season for Wolves but they picked up a much needed three points against bottom side Nottingham Forest at the weekend, ending a run of three straight defeats in the Premier League.

Crystal Palace played out a 0-0 draw in one of the worst matches you’re ever likely to see against Leicester on Saturday lunchtime to leave them in 13th position on 10 points.

The previous Premier League fixture between the clubs saw Crystal Palace come out on top 2-0 at Molineux Stadium last season. Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring for the Eagles in the 19th minute. Wilfried Zaha also found the net.
Crystal Palace have got the better of Wolves of late with wins in three straight clashes, dating to January 2021. The Eagles have outscored Wolves 5-0 during their winning streak.

Both teams to score – no

Admittedly this isn’t a selection I favour, nor a bet I place very often. However, Wolves are the lowest scoring side in the league so far this season, scoring only four goals in their opening 10 matches, and I don’t think they’ll score in this one either. They are currently 17th in the league standings, just one point above Southampton who occupy 18th place within the relegation zone. Palace haven’t been great goal scorers this season either, but are on a much more respectable 10 goals in nine games. Of Wolves 10 Premier League fixtures so far this season, both teams have scored in only two of them and I expect that to be the case again in this one.

Wilfried Zaha 2 + shots on target

I expect Palace to be on the front foot for the majority of this one in front of a noisy home crowd at Selhurst Park. The Eagles have won three of the last four meetings between these two, and their main man Wilfried Zaha is often the man they rely on. Zaha has scored four of Palace’s 10 Premier League goals this season, and averages 2.79 shots per game. I expect him to have chances in this one and to have a few shots on target against a struggling Wolves side.

Each team to have 3+ corners.

I’m backing each team to have three or more corners in this one. Crystal Palace average 4.20 corners per game so far this season. Wolves average 4.40 corners per game and average 4.60 corners per game away from home. At home, Crystal Palace average 4.20 per game. I expect this one the be fast paced, and Palace especially will create a good amount of chances. I think this selection of the bet builder will land comfortably.
