bet365 Super Boosts at the Cheltenham Festival

The Cheltenham Festival is one of the busiest periods of the year for bet365 Super Boosts. During the four days of the Festival — Tuesday to Friday in March — bet365 typically releases at least one Super Boost per day, usually on a headline race from that afternoon’s card.

These are among the most valuable Super Boosts of the year. The races bet365 choose for their Cheltenham boosts are invariably the biggest of the day — the Champion Hurdle on Tuesday, the Queen Mother Champion Chase on Wednesday, the Stayers’ Hurdle on Thursday and the Gold Cup on Friday. The selections boosted are typically one of the market leaders, and the price enhancement can be significant given the size of the fields and the depth of betting activity around Festival racing.

The Cheltenham Super Boost follows the same format as any other — singles only, available for a limited time before the race, with a maximum stake that varies by account. The key difference during the Festival is timing: rather than going live around 60 minutes before a football kick-off, the Cheltenham Super Boost typically appears in the morning of each Festival day as bet365 releases their daily promotions, and may be available for several hours before the race. Check this page each morning of Festival week, and we will have the details as soon as the boost goes live.

If you are planning to bet at Cheltenham and do not yet have a bet365 account, their sign-up offer gives new customers £30 in bet credits — see our bet365 sign-up offer page for full details. For all bookmaker sign-up offers available for the Festival, including free bets from Boylesports, Ladbrokes, William Hill and more, see our dedicated Cheltenham free bets page.

For tips and race-by-race previews across all four days, our Cheltenham tips section is updated daily throughout the Festival.

What is the bet365 Super Boost?

The bet365 Super Boost is a promotional feature that takes an existing selection — a team to win, a player to score, a correct score, or a horse to win – and dramatically inflates the odds for a short window of time, usually around 60 minutes before an event starts. Unlike the standard Bet Boost feature, which offers modest increases across many markets, a Super Boost is a single, high-profile enhancement on one selection, and the difference between the original and boosted odds is significantly larger.

To give a sense of the scale involved, a Super Boost might take a team priced at Evens (1/1) to win a match and boost them to 5/2 or 3/1. It might take a player to score at 6/4 and move them to 4/1. The exact uplift varies each time, but the point is always the same: for a brief window, you are getting a materially better price than the market would otherwise offer.

Super Boosts are available to new customers and eligible existing customers. Eligibility for existing customers can depend on your account’s activity and betting history – not every bet365 account will see the Super Boost feature.

Super Boost vs Bet Boost — What Is the Difference?

bet365 offers two different types of odds enhancement, and it is worth understanding how they differ before you use either.

bet365 Bet Boosts are available on most major matches throughout the week. They are typically found by going to a specific match on bet365 and looking under the Popular tab, where you will see pre-selected bets labelled with a boost. Bet Boosts are usually modest enhancements — a selection might move from 2/1 to 9/4, or from 5/1 to 11/2. They are available for longer periods, sometimes from the day before the match, and they cover a wider range of markets. Bet Boosts can include correct scores, first goalscorers, Bet Builders and outright markets.

bet365 Super Boosts are rarer, larger and more time-sensitive. They apply to just one selection at a time, go live approximately one hour before kick-off, and are gone when the event starts. The odds enhancement is considerably more dramatic than a standard Bet Boost. Super Boosts are typically on simple, high-profile markets — a team to win a match, a player to score or a horse to win, where a large price movement is immediately obvious and appealing.

The key practical difference is in the max stake. Super Boosts have a maximum stake that varies by account — typically £10 to £40 depending on your betting history — and singles only. The Bet Boost max stake varies by market. For both, you cannot combine them with other promotional offers.

How to Find the bet365 Super Boost

Super Boosts do not live in a fixed location on the bet365 website or app — they appear in the promotions section when live. Here is the quickest route to finding them:

On the bet365 website, log in to your account or sign-up for an account, and go to the Promotions page. The Super Boost will appear here when it is active, usually in the football or sports section. You can also find it by going to the relevant sport and looking for the boosted odds banner at the top of the page. For the biggest events, the Super Boost will also be shown on the bet365 homepage.

On the bet365 app, the Super Boost will typically appear as a highlighted offer on the homepage when it is live, or under the Promotions tab. Because the boost goes live a few hours hour before kick-off or the start of the race, it is worth checking the app on big match days in the 90 minutes before a major Premier League or Champions League game starts.

The quickest way to never miss one is to bookmark this page and check it on match days. We update this page each time a new Super Boost goes live.

When Are bet365 Super Boosts Available?

Super Boosts appear most often in the following situations:

Premier League Saturday and Sunday. The headline fixtures of the weekend are the most common home for a Super Boost. Expect one most weekends during the Premier League season, usually on the highest-profile game of the week — often a top-four clash, a Manchester derby or a London rivalry.

Champions League and Europa League nights. Midweek European fixtures, particularly in the knockout stages, are regularly accompanied by a Super Boost. If there is a high-profile British club in action — Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea — the likelihood of a Super Boost on that match increases.

Major horse racing festivals. Super Boosts appear during Cheltenham, the Grand National meeting and Royal Ascot, usually on a headline race such as the Gold Cup or Champion Hurdle. These are worth watching for if you bet on racing.

International football. England matches and major tournament fixtures (European Championship, World Cup) regularly trigger Super Boosts.

Outside of these situations, Super Boosts are less common. They are absent during the summer when the Premier League is not running, and less frequent in the first weeks of the season before the big fixtures build up.

How to Use the bet365 Super Boost — Step by Step

Using the Super Boost is straightforward once you know where to find it.

Step 1: Log in to your bet365 account. If you do not have one, you can open one via our bet365 sign-up offer page and claim £30 in bet credits as a new customer. (T&Cs apply. 18+. Gambleaware).

Step 2: Go to the Promotions page or navigate to the relevant sport. When the Super Boost is live you will see the selection highlighted with the boosted odds displayed prominently.

Step 3: Click the boosted odds to add the selection to your betslip. The betslip will confirm that the boosted odds are applied — check this before you place the bet.

Step 4: Enter your stake. Note the maximum stake for the Super Boost — this varies by account but is typically between £10 and £40. If you enter more than the maximum, the excess will be returned, or the bet may not be accepted at the boosted price.

Step 5: Confirm the bet. The Super Boost must be used as a single — it cannot be combined with other selections in an accumulator or Bet Builder.

Step 6: The bet settles at the boosted odds. If the bet wins, your returns are calculated at the enhanced price, not the original market price.

Is the bet365 Super Boost Worth Using?

The short answer is yes — when the selection is one you would have backed anyway, the Super Boost offers genuine additional value. You are getting a better price on the same bet. If bet365’s original price on a team to win was Evens and the Super Boost takes it to 5/2, that is an extra £15 profit on a £10 stake if it wins. That is real, tangible value with no additional effort required.

The caution is that you should not be tempted to place a bet you would not otherwise make simply because the Super Boost price looks attractive. The selection still has to win. Bet365’s trading team set the Super Boost selection strategically — it is always on a market where the boost looks appealing but where the implied probability still favours the bookmaker over time.

The best approach is to have a list of the matches you are already interested in betting on during the week and then check whether a Super Boost appears on any of those selections. If it does, use it. If the Super Boost is on a match you had no interest in, it is not a reason to start.
