AL AASY has won this race for the past two years, and he can bring up the treble here for William Haggas.
The Sea The Stars gelding has a good record here, winning two of his three starts at this venue, and he won twice in all last term, also landing the Gordon Richards Stakes at Sandown although his campaign ended on a low note when failing to cope with soft ground at Newbury behind Hamish.

It is WAARDAH for me in this. Her effort here at Goodwood last season is firmly in the memory bank, and she looks to have been aimed at this meeting again. She was a well-backed winner at listed level here last season when duly bolting up. She didn’t perform at Ascot on her final start of the season but looked ready for a break. She’s returned this season at Group 3 level in Carlisle where she was an eye-catching third. That’ll have him ready for this and she’s the one to beat for me.
