- 27 goals in 11 away games for Cardiff at 2.45 a match, better than their home rate of 1.78.

- 17.45 shots a game for Cardiff with 64.7% of the ball, though both figures were produced against League One defences.
Cardiff vs Norwich Bet Builder Tips
Both Teams to Score — 12 of Cardiff’s Last 20, 10 of Norwich’s
Cardiff scored in seventeen of their twenty and Norwich in sixteen of theirs. Both kept six clean sheets, so neither defence is watertight and neither attack is shy — Cardiff average 2.15 goals a game and Norwich 1.45.
The Cardiff half is the stronger and the shakier at once. Seventeen of twenty is a genuine record, but it was made in League One against defences Norwich are not. Their expected goals for of 1.47 sits well below the 2.15 they actually scored, which is the gap between finishing chances against that opposition and creating them against this one.
Norwich scoring is the safer side of the pair. They found the net in sixteen of twenty and conceded only 1.05 a game, which points at a side that controls matches rather than trades them. What beats this leg is Cardiff going quiet at the level up — and their three blanks in twenty all came away from home.
Over 2.5 Goals — 11 of Cardiff’s Last 20, 10 of Norwich’s
Fifty-five per cent and fifty per cent, and Cardiff bring 2.15 goals a game with 17.45 shots and 33.05 touches in the box. Norwich are more measured at 1.45 and 13.70, but they concede 1.05 and score enough to keep matches moving.
The argument against is the sharpest number on the page. Norwich have gone over 3.5 goals in one of their last twenty — five per cent, against Cardiff’s fifty. That is not a side that plays in shootouts. Eleven of their twenty finished with three goals or fewer, and their 1.19 expected goals against says the defending is real rather than lucky.
So this leg needs Cardiff to bring their scoring with them from League One. Their 6.25 shots from outside the box a game is the warning — a lot of that volume is speculative, and the over 2.5 goals line rewards chances rather than attempts.
M. Toure Anytime Goalscorer — 9 Goals in 771 Minutes
Nought, nought, one, nought, one and three in his last six, at 1.05 per 90. No player in our data this season is scoring at that rate, and it is not a finishing streak — fifteen shots on target at 1.75 per 90 is the best rate on the page too, so the volume is behind it.
The minutes are the honest caveat. Seven hundred and seventy-one across a season means substitute appearances and short starts, and the four goals at Bristol City and Hull carry a large share of the total. A player at 1.05 per 90 who plays sixty minutes is closer to 0.7, and that is what this leg is actually buying.
Cardiff are the right opponent for it. They conceded 1.30 a game in League One and are stepping up a division, with a back line missing Chambers, Fish and Lawlor to muscle injuries and Osho doubtful. Toure will face defenders who have not played at this level together.
R. Colwill 1+ Shot on Target — On Target in All 6 of His Last 6
One, one, one, one, one and two — the most consistent run of any player on this page in either direction. Fifteen shots on target across 1,228 minutes at 1.10 per 90, and he has not gone a match without troubling the goalkeeper in six.
The rate is unremarkable and the run is the argument. At 1.10 per 90 he is not among the highest volume attackers here — but the on-target line asks for one, and one is exactly what he delivers every week. That is the shape of selection our shots on target prop bets are built to find.
What beats it is Norwich’s defensive record. They conceded 1.05 a game and kept six clean sheets, with 2.55 saves a match and 0.14 goals prevented — a goalkeeper performing slightly above expectation. Colwill’s floor is one, and this is the fixture most likely to test it.
How the Four Fit Together
Two goals legs and two prop bets, and the goals legs overlap — a match with goals at both ends has usually cleared 2.5 as well, so the price is shorter than four independent selections. That is normal, and we explain why on our bet builder tips page.
The two prop bets pull in opposite directions, which is the useful part. Toure scoring needs Norwich attacking; Colwill on target needs Cardiff to be. Between them they cover both halves of a match that most likely has goals in it.
Toure is the leg that could let it down, for the reason above — nine goals in 771 minutes is a rate, not a guarantee of minutes.
Cardiff vs Norwich Prediction
We are predicting 1-2 to Norwich. Our model gives Cardiff 33%, the draw 27% and Norwich 40%, from expected goals of 1.20 and 1.35 after regressing Cardiff’s League One figures towards the Championship. The market has it 35.4%, 26.3% and 38.3% — within two points on every outcome, which is unusual on a cross-division tie. Worth comparing UK bookmakers before you place it.
