The Champions League Final 2026 – Budapest, 30th May
The 2026 UEFA Champions League Final will be played at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, on 30 May 2026. It is the first time the Champions League Final has been held in Hungary.
The four teams still in contention are Arsenal, Atlético Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich. The semi-final draw has produced two mouth-watering ties:

Arsenal arrive as the form team of the tournament — with an unbeaten league phase, a round-of-16 win over Leverkusen, and an edge-of-your-seat quarter-final against Sporting CP. Mikel Arteta’s side have never won the European Cup. Budapest could be their moment.
PSG are the defending Champions League holders, having beaten Inter Milan in last season’s final. They eliminated Liverpool again this season — 4-0 on aggregate — on their way to the last four.
Bayern Munich demolished Atalanta 10-2 on aggregate in the round of 16 before knocking out Real Madrid in the quarters, and are one of the most decorated clubs in Champions League history.
Atlético Madrid, under Diego Simeone, beat Barcelona in the quarter-finals and have Julián Álvarez leading the line. Simeone has taken Atleti to two Champions League finals before — they have never won it. This is their best chance in years.
Whoever wins the semi-finals, the Final on 30th May will be one of the great European nights of this generation.
