Paddy Power Power Ups – What are they and how do they work?

Man City De Bruyne

The Paddy Power ‘Power Up’ is a promotion where you get the odds of one of your single bets boosted. However, there are some better alternatives to using Paddy Power if you want the odds for your bets boosted.

Paddy Power are well known for their existing customer offers and the Paddy Power power-up is a popular option for punters but it is no longer showing up on their website or app so it looks like Paddy Power Power Ups have finished, therefore we need some alternative bookies who also offer Power Ups.

  2. bet365 – Bet Boost: See which events qualify for a bet boost by looking for the green arrow

Have Paddy Power Stopped Power Ups?

Looking at the Paddy Power promotions section and on their app, it looks like Paddy Power have stopped offering Power Ups and therefore you will no longer be able to get a boosted price for one of your bets. This means we need to search around for other bookies that offer a similar promotion and the bet365 Bet Boost looks to be a good option here.

The Paddy Power Rewards Club is still going but the Power Ups used to be linked to this, which it doesn’t see to be anymore.

Use bet365 Bet Boost as an Alternative

How it works:
  1. Navigate to a sporting classification or event on bet365 or the bet365 app.
  2. Events with Bet Boosts available will be indicated by a green arrow, the boosted prices available will display on the coupon with the original price crossed out.
  3. Select the Bet Boost price to add it to the bet slip.

  • How do you get it?
  • How do you use it?
  • What are the rules?

What is a Paddy Power Power Up?

  • The Paddy Power Power Up is a token you can use to get the odds of a single bet boosted.
  • You can use it on pre-match or in-play bets and the maximum stake will vary, but it will be no more than £50.
  • It cannot be used on multiples, power prices, score/win casts, Lotteries, Fantasy or Virtuals.
  • Bets place with free bets will not qualify for a Power Up

How do you get Paddy Power Power Ups?

The easiest way to get Power Ups is through the Paddy Power Rewards Club. As well as your weekly free bet from opting in and placing bets, you will also get the following:

  • Place 1x £5 bet in a week and receive 1 Power Up
  • Place 5 bets of £5 or more in a week and get a free £5 bet and 1 Power Up
  • Place 10x bets of £5 or more in a week and get a £10 free bet and 1 Power Up

Sometimes, there will also be random Power Up promotions for horse racing or football, for example, bet £10 on the 1.15pm race at Punchestown and you get a free power up.

How do you use your Paddy Power Power Up?

Once you have claimed your Power Up token, you will see it in your bet slip once you add an eligible bet to the slip on mobile or desktop.

Click the token and you will see the odds of your selection get boosted. For example, you might add a horse at 4/1 into your slip and the Power-Up will boost it to 5/1 for you. Maximum stakes vary but it should be £10 at least.

Paddy Power Power Up Rules
