Paddy Power Power Ups – What are they and how do they work?
The Paddy Power ‘Power Up’ is a promotion where you get the odds of one of your single bets boosted. You can collect more Power Ups by placing bets on the Paddy Power website or app and winnings are all paid in cash at the boosted odds.
Paddy Power are well known for their existing customer offers and the Paddy Power power-up is a popular option for punters. It works alongside the Paddy Power Rewards Club and there are a few different ways to get a power-up, but first, you will need a Paddy Power account.

What is a Paddy Power Power Up?
- The Paddy Power Power Up is a token you can use to get the odds of a single bet boosted.
- You can use it on pre-match or in-play bets and the maximum stake will vary, but it will be no more than £50.
- It cannot be used on multiples, power prices, score/win casts, Lotteries, Fantasy or Virtuals.
- Bets place with free bets will not qualify for a Power Up
How do you get Paddy Power Power Ups?
The easiest way to get Power Ups is through the Paddy Power Rewards Club. As well as your weekly free bet from opting in and placing bets, you will also get the following:
- Place 1x £5 bet in a week and receive 1 Power Up
- Place 5 bets of £5 or more in a week and get a free £5 bet and 1 Power Up
- Place 10x bets of £5 or more in a week and get a £10 free bet and 1 Power Up
Sometimes, there will also be random Power Up promotions for horse racing or football, for example, bet £10 on the 1.15pm race at Punchestown and you get a free power up.
How do you use your Paddy Power Power Up?
Once you have claimed your Power Up token, you will see it in your bet slip once you add an eligible bet to the slip on mobile or desktop.
Click the token and you will see the odds of your selection get boosted. For example, you might add a horse at 4/1 into your slip and the Power-Up will boost it to 5/1 for you. Maximum stakes vary but it should be £10 at least.
Paddy Power Power Up Rules
All football markets are based on 90 minutes and own goals do not count for wincast or scorecast bets.
Power Plays are not eligible for money back specials, accumulator bonuses or any other kind of existing customer promotions unless stated on the Paddy Power website.
The decision of Paddy Power is final for these bets.
