Tottenham vs Everton Match Preview

It’s the final weekend of the Premier League this weekend, drawing to a close another exciting season in which Arsenal have been crowned Champions of the division. Spurs welcome Everton this weekend, as they look for the point they need to keep them in the division.

If Spurs draw and West Ham win, they’ll stay up on goal difference, as their goal difference is 12 better than the Hammers. They’ll go all out this weekend as they look to avoid defeat.

Everton don’t have much to play for, albeit a win could see them finishing in the top half if results elsewhere go their way. They’re 12th in the league, two points behind Sunderland in 10th.

Best Bet Builder Tip — Tottenham to Win (19/20)

I fancy Spurs to come out on top this weekend as they look to take all three points and secure their place in the league for next season. Their fans will have one eye on the West Ham game as the two battle it out to stay up, but the players will be laser-focused on the task at hand. They’re two points ahead of the Hammers, who currently occupy the final relegation spot. Spurs lost to Chelsea last time out, but that was their only defeat in their last five, with two draws and two wins in that time. Everton are winless in their last six, and I think Spurs will come out on top at home this Sunday.

Both Teams to Score (8/11)

In Everton’s last six matches, both teams have scored in all of them. The Toffees have scored in nine of their last 10, conceding in eight of them. Spurs have scored in eight of their last 10, conceding in nine, with both teams scoring in seven of those matches. Spurs scored three the last time these two met, with Everton drawing a blank on that occasion. However, I fancy both teams to score this weekend.

Richarlison Over 0.5 Shots on Target (21/50)

I think Richarlison will have at least one shot on target this Sunday. The former Everton striker has scored twice in his last five outings for Spurs, taking his tally to 12 for the season, with 11 in the league and one in the Champions League. In the league, the Brazilian has had a total of 60 shots, with 26 on target in his 31 appearances. I expect Spurs to create a good amount of chances this weekend, and a few will fall to the striker. There’s a good chance he will have one or more shots on target in this one.

Pedro Porro to Be Booked (7/2)

Spurs right back Pedro Porro has picked up 14 yellow cards in all competitions this season, with 10 in the league, two in the Champions League and one in each of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. In the league, he has made 30 fouls in 33 appearances, an average of almost one foul per game. I expect him to make at least a couple of fouls here, and I think he’s good odds to pick up his 15th booking of the season against Everton on Sunday.

Tottenham v Everton Key Stats

  • Kick-off: 4pm BST, Sunday 24 May 2026, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
  • Spurs need a point to guarantee survival; their goal difference is 12 better than West Ham’s
  • Spurs form: one defeat in their last five (two wins, two draws)
  • Everton form: winless in their last six
  • Both teams have scored in all of Everton’s last six matches
  • Spurs have scored in eight of their last 10, Everton in nine of their last 10
  • Richarlison: 12 goals this season, 26 shots on target in 31 league appearances
  • Pedro Porro: 14 cards in all competitions, 30 fouls in 33 league appearances

Alternative Bet — Over 2.5 Goals (10/13)

I fancy Spurs to come out the blocks quick from the first whistle here, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them score a good few. If it’s the same outcome as the last time these two met, this one would land, and both teams to score wouldn’t. It’s lesser odds, and reduces the odds of this bet builder to 11/1 with Paddy Power, but it’s a good bet.
