Tottenham to win
I’m backing to get back to winning ways following their 0-1 home defeat to Bournemouth last time out. Prior to that, they defeated Man City 0-2 on the road, and opened their campaign with a 3-0 victory over Burnley. West Ham were victorious over Forest last time out, but lost their previous three matches, with a League Cup defeat away to Wolves coming on the back of defeats to Chelsea and Sunderland. I think Spurs will win this one here.
Two Players to have a shot on target
I’ve gone for two players to have a shot on target here – one from each team – West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen and Spurs forward Brennan Johnson. Bowen has one goal in his three league appearances this season, with three shots on target, one in each game. Johnson has scored two in three with two shots on target. I think this game will have plenty of action, and both players will be involved in their side’s attacks and are good odds to have one or more shots on target.
Player to be carded
Spurs’ Pape Sarr is the man we’re backing to pick up a card here. He has committed nine fouls so far this season, which is the sixth highest in the league (along with another six players). He will get stuck in again here and likely make another couple of fouls. It’s a matter of time before he picks up his first card of the season, so why not in this game? I think he’s good odds for a card here.
