I said it’ll be close, and with that, I think both teams will score. United have bagged a total of 60 league goals this season, less than only Man City and Arsenal, who are battling it out for the title. They’ve conceded 46 in 35 matches. Liverpool have scored 57 and conceded 44 in the same number of matches played. Both teams have scored in four of Liverpool’s last 10 and in seven of the last 10 for United, while both teams have scored in four of the last five meetings between the two. I think both teams to score is a safe bet on Sunday.

He has made 45 fouls in that time, an average of well over one foul per game. He was carded in that victory at Anfield earlier in the season, and I think he’s good odds to pick up his 12th booking of the league campaign on Sunday.
Ibrahima Konate to be booked — 12/5
The second player I think is good odds for a booking is Liverpool central defender Ibrahima Konate. The France international has picked up nine cards in all competitions this season, with six in the league and one in each of the Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Community Shield. It’ll be a difficult game this weekend, and with it being such a big rivalry, I expect to see plenty of fouls and cards. I think 12/5 is good odds for Konate to be booked against United.
