However, I think they’ll win this one again and progress to the semi-final of the Champions League fairly comfortable. They are yet to be beaten at home in the Champions League this season, and have defeated the likes of Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich on home turf in North London. I think they’ll have more than enough quality to see off Sporting Lisbon this week.
Viktor Gyokeres Over 0.5 Shots on Target
Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres should have at least one shot on target in this one, and I’m backing that at odds of 2/5 on this bet builder. The former Sporting striker scored 68 goals in 66 appearances throughout his time in Lisbon before making the switch to Premier League leaders Arsenal, and I think he could come back to haunt them on Wednesday evening in London. He has scored 18 goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season, which is a decent return, and in the Champions League he has had 12 shots on target in nine appearances, an average of more than one per game. I think there’s a good chance of him having a couple of shots on target here, at least one.

Riccardo Calafiori to Be Booked
4/1 is fantastic for Arsenal’s Riccardo Calafiori to pick up a card in this one. The full back is an aggressive player, and this season he has been carded seven times in all competitions this season – five times in the league, once in the FA Cup and once in the Champions League. He had made five fouls in his five Champions League outings this season, an average of one per game. Sporting will have some of the ball here and will look to take the left back on in the wide areas, and I suspect he will make one or two fouls. 4/1 is too good odds to turn down for him to be booked in this one.
