Bayern Munich vs PSG is the Champions League semi-final second leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday — Bayern needing to overturn a 5-4 first-leg deficit after one of the most thrilling Champions League ties in recent memory.
It’s the basis for a 4/1 bet builder combining Bayern’s home form, the goalscoring patterns of both teams, Michael Olise’s shot output and Harry Kane’s relentless goal record. Here’s the full preview and the bet builder tips.
Bayern Munich vs PSG Bet Builder Tip
Bayern Munich vs PSG Match Preview
It’s the second leg of this semi-final fixture on Wednesday, following a thrilling 5-4 victory for PSG in Paris last week. There isn’t huge value in this fixture, so you might want to think about some outside bets, but I’ve managed to find some value in this bet builder at 4/1.
Bayern Munich are champions of the Bundesliga already, as they’re 13 points clear at the top with just two games remaining. They have won eight of their last 10, with defeat against PSG last week, and a 3-3 draw with Heidenheim last time out.
PSG are close to being Ligue 1 Champions, as they’re currently six points clear of Lens with three games remaining, one of which is against second-placed Lens. They have won eight of their last 10, with a draw against Lorient last time out and a defeat to Lyon three weeks ago.
The Tips
BEST BET BUILDER TIP — Bayern Munich to win @ 7/10
With this one perfectly poised with only one goal in it, following that 5-4 victory for PSG last week, I think Bayern will win this one, at least in 90 minutes. At home, they’ll have the backing of their support to overcome that one goal deficit, and I think they’ll do just that. They have scored a massive 36 goals in their last 10 matches in all competitions, with 34 goals in their last 10 home matches, of which eight were victories at the Allianz Arena. PSG have won eight of their last 10 matches on the road, but I think Bayern will have too much at home, and will at least take this one to extra time.
Over 3.5 goals in the match — 8/15
After that nine-goal thriller last week, I think we’re all expecting another exciting spectacle with plenty of goals for both sides. As I said, Bayern have bagged 36 goals in just 10 matches, and have scored 116 goals in 32 Bundesliga matches this season, an average well over three goals per game in the league. PSG have scored slightly less of late, but still a huge amount of goals, with 27 scored in their last 10 in all competitions. With both sides keen to progress to the final, I think this one will be another goal fest.
ALTERNATIVE BET — Over 4.5 goals in the match @ 23/20
For all the same reasons as above, I wouldn’t be surprised to see more than 4.5 goals in this one either, at slightly higher odds of 23/20. Taking an extra goal increases the odds of this bet builder to 21/4 with Bet MGM.
Michael Olise over 1.5 shots on target — 22/25
Michael Olise was electric in that first leg tie, and added to his goal tally for the season by making it 2-2 on 41 minutes, before PSG took the lead again just before the interval. Olise has had a good season for Bayern, notching 21 goals in all competitions. He has scored 14 in the league, five in the Champions League, and two in the DFB Pokal. In the Champions League, he has had 18 shots on target in 12 appearances, giving him an average of exactly 1.5 per game. I think that trend will continue on Wednesday, and he’s good odds to have a couple of shots on target.
Harry Kane to score — 4/6
As grass is green and water is wet, I think Harry Kane will score in this one again. The England striker has scored 54 goals in all competitions for Bayern this season, an average of well above one goal per game (48 matches played). He scored from the spot to open the scoring last week against PSG, and I would be surprised if he didn’t add to his tally in this fixture. With goals expected, you can bet that Kane will get himself in on the action once more.
Combined Bet Builder Odds — 4/1
Pulling the four selections together gives a 4/1 bet builder. £10 returns £50. £5 returns £25.
The bet works because the four selections are correlated in the same direction:
- Bayern needing to overturn the deficit at home (anchor) → high-tempo attacking football → over 3.5 goals
- Bayern dominating possession in PSG’s half → Olise getting shots on target
- Sustained Bayern attacks → Kane scoring (one goal per game season average)
- Goal fest with both teams scoring → Bayern’s home advantage carries them through
The bet builder format works particularly well when selections support each other rather than fighting for the same ball — and these four are reading from the same script. Bayern come out attacking, the goals flow at both ends, Olise gets his statutory chances, and Kane adds to his 54-goal tally for the season.
