Here’s the full preview and the bet builder tips.
Arsenal vs Fulham Bet Builder — 28/1 at bet365
Arsenal vs Fulham Match Preview
Arsenal take on Fulham in this Saturday’s evening fixture. The Gunners are three points clear at the top of the Premier League, albeit Man City have played a game less. Fulham are having a decent season, lying exactly middle of the pack in 10th position.
Arsenal will be keen to win to extend their lead at the top to six points, before Man City take on Everton on Monday evening. They come into this one off the back of a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.
Fulham have won five of their last 10 in all competitions, which is reflective of their league position this season. The last time these two met, Arsenal came out on top at Craven Cottage.
The Tips
Arsenal to win — 19/40
I think Arsenal will win this one fairly comfortably. Although they don’t score a lot of goals, they’re solid, and Fulham will have their work cut out this weekend. Despite that, the Gunners have won only four of their last 10 in all competitions, including only one of their last five. Fulham have won five of their last 10 in all competitions. However, with what’s at stake for Arsenal, I think they’ll come out all guns blazing, and I think they’ll win this one fairly comfortably.
BEST BET BUILDER TIP — Under 2.5 goals in the game @ 11/10
As I said, Arsenal don’t score a lot of goals, and I think that will be the case again this weekend. Despite thinking they’ll win comfortably, I don’t think there will be a lot of goals in this one. In Arsenal’s last 10, there has been under 2.5 goals on seven occasions, with Arsenal only scoring 10 goals in that time. Fulham have scored 11 in their last 10, with under 2.5 goals in six of their last 10. Those stats are strong, and I think under 2.5 goals is a great bet in this fixture at 11/10.
Viktor Gyokeres over 0.5 shots on target — 8/11
Arsenal’s front man Viktor Gyokeres has had a decent first season in North London. He scored his 19th goal of the season from the spot against Atletico during the week. He has 12 goals to his name in the Premier League, five in the Champions League and one in each of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. In the league, he has had 18 shots on target, an average of more than 0.5 shots on target per game. Arsenal should have most of the possession here, and they’ll create chances. I expect at least one of them to fall to Gyokeres, and I think he will have at least one shot on target.
ALTERNATIVE BET — Viktor Gyokeres to score @ 7/5
Taking Gyokeres to score at odds of 7/5 increases the odds of this bet builder to 36/1, with the best odds found with Paddy Power. He has had a decent season in front of goal, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him on the scoresheet this weekend.
Joachim Andersen to be booked — 7/2
The player I’m backing to pick up a card this weekend is Fulham’s Joachim Andersen. The central defender has picked up seven yellow cards this season – all coming in the Premier League – and 7/2 is good odds for him to collect his eighth on Saturday. He’s coming up against a strong Arsenal front line, and with 10 cards last season, he’s on track to match that again this time round. He will potentially be forced into a number of fouls, as Arsenal apply pressure, and there’s a good chance of him being carded.
Combined Bet Builder Odds — 28/1 at bet365
Pulling the four selections together gives a 28/1 bet builder at bet365. £10 returns £290. £5 returns £145.
The bet works because the four selections are correlated in the same direction:
- Arsenal dominating possession (anchor) → controlled, low-tempo game → under 2.5 goals
- Arsenal pressing in the final third → chances falling to Gyokeres → shot on target
- Sustained pressure on Fulham’s back line → Andersen forced into challenges → booking
The bet builder format works particularly well when selections support each other rather than fighting for the same ball — and these four are reading from the same script. Arsenal manage the game, Gyokeres gets his sights on goal, and Andersen pays the price for trying to keep the front three quiet.
bet365’s Bet Builder is one of the better products on the UK market for this kind of multi-leg combination — depth across all four markets we’ve selected, fast settlement, full cash out available if you want to settle early during the match.
